An All-League, All-CIF, and All-State runner in 2010, Cody Nguyen returns to lead the Wildcats to another impressive season.  During his 2010 Cross Country campaign, Nguyen broke 15 minutes at the Orange County Championships, and a week later he record a 15:09 at Mt. SAC.  At State, Nguyen set a school record on the Woodward Park course, clocking 15:35 and finishing in 9th place in Division 3.  Although hampered by injuries and limited to minimal training during the 2011 track season, Nguyen recorded personal bests in the 1600 (4:21) and the 800 (1:58).  Look for Nguyen to be among the best runners in California in 2011, as he hopes to break 14:50 at Mt. SAC, and challenge California's elite at the State meet.
